Rally Ireland
Prvním závodem odstartoval letošní, tedy druhý ročník poháru IF Cup. Premiérový závod přivítalo Irsko, tedy soutěž převážně asfaltová. Převážně proto, že jezdci museli absolvovat na úvod každé ze dvou etap krátkou šotolinovou vložku, ovšem bez možnosti přezutí gum, což se hlavně v první části závodu mnohým vymstilo. Ale přejděme již k výsledkům, které nás určitě zajímají ze všeho nejvíc. Začneme nejslabší třídou dvoukolek, tedy S1600. V Irsku zde zvítězil pilot IF Motorsportu Jiří Frištenský na Fordu Fiesta. Následoval ho Míra Čech, reprezentující stejný tým a jedoucí se stejným vozem. Na stupních vítězů je doplnil Martin Zápotocký jedoucí za Frontline Rally Team s Oplem Corsa. Ve třídě S2000, nebo chcete-li atmosférických dvoulitrech, byl nejrychlejší Honza Lehečka, který po trati vodí Peugeot 207 patřící do stáje Hanáckého Rally Klubu. Následovaly ho dvě Fiesty nejnovější specifikace za jejichž volanty seděli Vladimir Sinelnikov z Yalta Crimea Rally Teamu a Dan Pasker z HROCH Rally Týmu. Skupina N4 se stala kořistí Subaru Impreza N14 Alekseye Lopukhova, oděná do barev Yalta Crimea Rally Teamu. Na druhém místě dokončil Jirka Bernat na stejném voze, ovšem z týmu IF Motorsport a poslední do party na bedně byl Lukáš Krajča, který se svým Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX hájil barvy SAS Krmelín. Dnes již polyhistorická skupina A8 byla v závodě menší kuriozitou, jelikož závod absolvovali pouze tři jezdci. Pro double si tak dojel pořádající tým IF Motorsport, když týmové Toyoty Celicy dokončily soutěž v pořadí Jiří Vingárek, Libor Tomeček. Třetím mušketýrem byl Pavel Malý se Subaru Impreza 555, startující za Mogul Racing Team. První tři jezdci nejsilnější třídy WRC byli klasifikováni také jako první tři v absolutním pořadí a tak si je představíme pouze jednou. Nejrychleji absolvoval záludných 18 RZ René Dohnal z Anvel Racing Teamu, s Fordem Focus. Ještě na předposlední RZ se ho snažil stíhat Ondřej Babák z IF Motorsportu, ovšem na poslední RZ vyrobil chybu a ta ho stála i stupně vítězů. Na druhé místo tak poskočil jeho týmový kolega Marťas Šindelář a na třetí Vladimír Kubíni z Kuba rr Team, oba s Citroëny C4. Shrnuli jsme si tedy stupně vítězů všech tříd, IF Motorsport doufá, že se Vám závod líbil a těšíme se na Vás v dalším kole IF Cupu, které se odehraje v Norsku.

Second place to his teammate jumped Marťas Sindelar, and the third Vladimir Kubiny from Kuba rr Team, both with the Citroen C4.
