Ve většině Evropy sice v současnosti panují úmorná vedra, jezdci IF Cupu se ovšem v dalším pohárovém závodě museli vydat na sever kontinentu, do nehostinného Norska. Kupodivu byly tratě pokryté sněhem a tak měli jezdci co dočinění s bariérami a sněhovými jazyky. Do druhého podniku odstartovalo 41 jezdců, přičemž do cíle se doklouzalo 39 z nich. Zrekapitulujeme si tedy, jak tento závod vlastně dopadl. Začneme kategorií S2000, tedy jednou z nejobsazenějších. S více než minutovou převahou zde zvítězil Vladimir Sinelnikov, jedoucí na Fordu Fiesta za Yalta Crimea Rally Team. Na druhém místě ho následoval týmový kolega Vladimir Chirokov, taktéž s Fordem Fiesta. Stupně vítězů zkompletoval Honza Lehečka z Hanáckého Rally Clubu se svým Peugeotem 207. Abych nepřeskakovali rovnou k turbomotorům, budeme pokračovat druhou a poslední atmosférickou skupinou, tedy dvoukolkami, nebo chcete-li S1600. Na třetí místo dosáhl Tomasz Buczkowski s Fordem Fiesta, který jede bez týmové příslušnosti. O pár desítek vteřin mu ujel Luděk Chlebný z Racing Teamu Sahara a jeho Renault Clio. Stejně jako ve vyšší kategorii S2000, měl i zde vítěz náskok kolem jedné minuty. Stal se jím Petr Vodička s Peugeotem 206 z dílen Frontline Rally Teamu. Další kategorií, ve které bylo možno startovat, byla třída A8. S krásnými ,,velkými‘‘ áčky vyrazili na trať však pouze tři jezdci, a tak kdo dojel, postavil se na stupně vítězů. Do cíle dorazili všechny tři vozy, tak se podívejme, v jakém pořadí. S pohodlým, tříminutovým náskokem, zvítězil Libor Tomeček z pořádajícího týmu IF Motorsport, na voze Toyota Celica. Se Subaru Impreza 555 ho následoval Pavel Malý z Mogul Racing Teamu a posledním do party byl Michal Kučera na další Toyotě, tentokráte z RBR Generation Teamu. Produkční vozy, označované jako N4 opanoval Míra Sudický se Subaru Impreza N12, druhému v cíli nadělil bezmála osm minut. Tím druhým byl Jirka Bernat, taktéž se Subaru Impreza, ovšem novější specifikace N14. Oba jezdci jsou z týmu IF Motorsport, který tedy v Norsku slavil v N4-kách double. Třetí do cíle doklouzal Milan Ben s Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, jedoucí jako soukromý jezdec. Nejsilnější třída WRC nabídla nejtěsnější souboj, první tři jezdci se vešli do jedné minuty. Nejpomalejším z nich byl Petr Černý senior, reprezentující RBR Generation Team s Forem Focus WRC 06. Tímto vozem disponoval i druhý v pořadí, Alexander Volkovich z Yalta Crimea Rally Teamu. S hubeným náskokem dvanácti vteřin byl jako první klasifikován taktéž Ford Focus WRC 06, ovšem v barvách IF Motorsport a pilotovaný Ondřejem Babákem. Právě Babák vyhrál norskou soutěž i v celkovém pořadí, druhý byl Alexander Volkovich a jako třetí celkově dokončil náročnou soutěž Vladimir Sinelnikov s Fiestou S2000. Norsko nabídlo náročnou sněhovou soutěž, jak se s ní popasovali jezdci, to už víme také. Nezbývá nám tedy, než se těšit na další podnik seriálu IF Cup, kterým bude Cyprus Rally. Ze severu a zimy se tedy jezdci přesunou na jih, do veder. Těšíme se na Vás s dalším zpravodajstvím a doufáme, že se soutěže líbí a líbit budou.

Babák just won the Norwegian competition even in the overall standings, the second was Alexander Volkovich, and finished as the third overall challenging competition with Vladimir Sinelnikov Fiesta S2000.
